How does API Key quota work?

Quota follows the current key or account configuration; use the console and GET /v1/usage for the actual remainder and rolling spend limit.

Steps

1. Check the quota source, remaining amount, and rolling spend limit for the key.
2. Separate trial, subscription, and pay-as-you-go balances.
3. Set usage alerts and verify through the Usage API.

Limits and exceptions

Quota can be affected by model multipliers, concurrency, and policy; a visible balance does not make every model callable.
